I bought these magnets to protect my 16 year old learning driver, as well as my car! Having three of them made the fact that she was new and inexperienced on the road well publisized. I put on each on the front doors, and on on the hood. (I bought a seperate magnet for the back) But…(and there is always a ‘but’ with a low rating), they are not very strong and all where lost within a month of occassional driving. They bend out of shape easily, corners lift, and they blow off the vehicle even at slower driving speeds. Having a new driver turn around and look in shoulders and ditches while learning the road ways is not a great idea. Alerting other drivers of the ’student’ status is a wonnder idea, and I did notice most other drivers extending a considerable amount of consideration and caution while driving near my daughter while using these. I was very sad to see them go.

Bigger and brighter than the bumpersticker my daughter’s driving instructor gave us. Also, they are magnetic so they can easily be switched between my husband’s car and my own.
